My Role
I was responsible for revamping the UI, focusing on improving visual consistency and usability to serve CompuMed’s corporate audience better. All designs were created using Adobe XD.
Problem
The existing interface posed challenges in navigation and accessibility. Users found it difficult to locate essential features like panel clinic locators and claim submissions, reducing engagement and efficiency.
Challenges
- Simplifying complex healthcare processes into a user-friendly design.

Action
Research & Planning
I carefully reviewed the client’s brief to identify the core requirements and challenges. Through informal surveys and a review of the existing app, I pinpointed key user pain areas such as difficulties with the clinic locator and claims submission process.
Testing & Refinement
Once the initial designs were completed, I conducted internal testing with the team. Feedback led to refinements in layout, typography, and key flows, ensuring seamless navigation, particularly for:
- Finding panel clinics
- Submitting GL and claims
- Viewing claims and GL history

Personal Takeaway
This project underscored the value of understanding user needs, even with limited resources. It taught me how to tackle challenges creatively and deliver solutions in the healthcare sector.
