SVLTAN Management is a big name in Malaysia’s entertainment industry, focusing on artiste management, branding, and marketing. Their branding combines cultural heritage with a modern, professional touch. A key feature is the “Tanjak” headgear, symbolizing strength and influence inspired by the Malay Sultanate.

Problem
SVLTAN didn’t have a proper digital platform to showcase their talents or represent their bold brand identity. They relied on old-school methods like word-of-mouth and phone calls. This made it hard for their artistes to stand out and didn’t reflect their vision of becoming a high-impact brand. They needed a website to enhance their presence and create a platform for detailed, up-to-date artiste profiles.
Challenges
- Brand Alignment: Make sure the website captures SVLTAN’s branding.
- Content Organization: Structuring detailed artiste profiles—bios, achievements, and media—in a way that’s easy to navigate and visually appealing.
- Technical Constraints: Building a visually appealing and functional website using WIX while balancing design and platform limitations.
- Time Constraints: The deadline was tight because the pandemic delayed plans, affecting the launch timeline.
My Role:
As the UI/UX Designer, I managed the entire design process, including research, UI design, wireframing, prototyping, and testing—all done using Adobe XD. Collaborating closely with the brand designer and client, I ensured the website aligned with SVLTAN’s branding and successfully showcased the artistes’ profiles. The final website was developed and launched using WIX.

Action
Research & Stylescape
The brand designer and client defined key design goals during the discovery phase. The brand designer created a stylescape to ensure the look and feel matched the brand’s direction. I dove deep into SVLTAN’s brand, analyzed its audience, and explored trends in artiste management websites while maintaining the cultural essence of the brand.


Wireframing, UI Design & Prototyping
Using Adobe XD, I designed the user interface (UI) to align with SVLTAN’s bold and majestic identity. This included creating wireframes to map out the structure and user flow, and high-fidelity prototypes to simulate the final experience. Testing was conducted to ensure the user journey felt intuitive and cohesive.


Feedback & Iteration
Through team feedback and user testing, I refined the design by tweaking the layout, fonts, and imagery. This ensured the website was not just visually appealing but also easy to use across all devices.

Solution
Detailed Artiste Profiles with CMS Integration
Each artiste’s profile was designed with a clean layout that included their bio, achievements, and media gallery. To make the booking process seamless, I added the contact details of each artiste’s manager, including their name, phone number, and email address.

Optimized User Experience
I built the website using WIX, ensuring that it remained responsive across devices while delivering intuitive navigation and clear call-to-action buttons. This approach balanced visual appeal with smooth functionality, offering an engaging user experience on mobile, tablet, and desktop.

Impact
The website provided SVLTAN Management with a professional digital presence, aligning with their brand identity and increasing visibility for their artistes. By including detailed profiles and manager contact information, the booking process became much more efficient. Positive feedback from clients and users highlighted the website’s user-friendly design and how well it represented the brand.


Conclusion
This project demonstrated the importance of aligning branding with usability while working within platform constraints. Using Adobe XD for UI/UX design and WIX for development ensured a seamless blend of visuals and functionality. Early client involvement and clear communication played a key role in delivering a design that elevated SVLTAN’s digital presence.
